After 3 weekly submissions, your average will be sent in an email. A certificate will be sent to the one with the highest average. On the thirty first of March, we will reset the scores and award the top three with the most wins in the league with certificates. A certificate is given for League membership each year, high game of week, high series of week, high average of week. Details: To roll the ball- go up for grabs & contact a station (mark in your own remarks that you went UFG so you can find it). Using the member number of station worked, the highest number is first ball (in this case 0 would be ten so would count as a strike). If not a strike with highest number that is used, then the second ball is from the Call area. If total of highest number and call area =10 or more, it is a spare. For example, if contacted N3YRZ 11818 first ball is 8 second is 3. So, you have enough for spare. Next call is N3YHF 10500 you have a strike. Next call is W2EUA 15352 first ball is 5 2nd is 2 so score is 7. Score like bowling: All ten pins on first ball is a strike. Its score is 10 plus the number of next two balls. In our case a 0 in the member number =10= strike.
If first ball is less than ten and second ball adds to total 10 or greater, it is a spare. A spare scores 10 plus the number of the next ball. In our case, highest number in member number plus call area is 10 or over. Zero in call area =gutter ball. If first ball is less than ten and second ball adds to total less than 10 use that total.
In the tenth(final) frame, if you roll a strike roll 2 more balls. If a spare roll one more ball.
If first ball is less than ten and second ball adds to total less than 10 use that total.
In the tenth(final) frame, if you roll a strike roll 2 more balls. If a spare roll one more ball.
