Rules for 'The Historical Route 66 Awards'
1. Contacts must be made on OMISS net frequencies and net times.
2. Contacts must be between OMISS members
3. Mixed bands are allowed
4. Endorsements are available for single bands
5. No starting time (You can dig through those logs and get started, good luck)
6. The counties do not have to be worked in any order
7. For Mobile to Mobile contacts, the applicant must be operating from the Historical Route 66 County
In 1937, the Historical Route 66 passed through the following States and Counties:
IL = Cook, Will, Grundy, Livingston, Mclean, Logan, Sangamon, Montgomery, Macoupin, Madison, and St. Clair
MO = St. Louis, Franklin, Crawford, Phelps, Pulaski, Laclede, Webster, Greene, Lawrence, Jasper, and Newton
KS = Cherokee
OK = Ottawa, Craig, Rogers, Tulsa, Creek, Lincoln, Oklahoma, Canadian, Caddo, Custer, Washita, and Beckham
TX = Wheeler, Gray, Donley, Carson, Potter, Oldham, and Deaf Smith
NM = Quay, Guadalupe, Torrance, Bernalillo, Cibola, Mckinley, Sante Fe, Sandoval, and San Miguel
AZ = Apache, Navajo, Coconino, Yavapai, and Mohave
CA = San Bernardino and Los Angeles
