Contacts Start Date: You may use contacts from start of OMISS 6/28/1981.
Contact Type: Members or nonmembers. Mixed band contacts are allowed.
OMISS Nets: Contacts must be made on OMISS Nets.
Enhancements: QRP to QRP, single bands, and 5-6-7-8 bands.
Certificate numbers: On the first application approved, the next available certificate number is assigned. When an enhancement is earned, certificates will be issued with the same # and the enhancement listed on it.
Details:
Contact stations in all 50 states of the USA QRP. This means using 10 watts of power or less.
For QRP to QRP, both stations must be using 10 watts or less.
Contacts must be in accordance with the ARRL rules for achieving a WAS award as found at http://www.arrl.org/was with one exception -- OMISS does not require that you submit QSL Cards.
Documentation to Submit: Logs should be sorted by state and power of 10 or under documented. If QRP to QRP include power of stations contacted. QSL cards are not required.
